In the fire service we truly need to rely on more than our knowledge and experience.  Each day we go to work, we are entering the unknown - from blood borne pathogens to buildings fully engulfed in fire and everything in between.  Every little bit helps to bring us and our crews home safely to our friends and family.  Having faith that God will guide us in our work can only help us.

Faith is an act of trust or reliance. Rather than being passive, faith leads to an active life of obedience to the one being trusted. It sees the mystery of God and his grace and seeks to know and become obedient to God.
